Statra is now Terros

Starting this week Statra is changing to Terros. We are very excited to announce this change and we hope you’ll grow to love this name as much as we do.

Over the next week, you will see changes to our website, our mobile app, email addresses, and more. Our physical address remains the same, our employees remain the same, and our commitment to your business remains as strong as ever.

• Will I have to download a new mobile app?

  No, we plan to change the name and branding without requiring anyone to download a new app. As Apple and Google send updates to your phone, you should get the changes automatically. The name should seamlessly change from Statra to Terros on your phone.

• What does Terros mean?

  Terros is inspired by the Latin word for earth and reflects the work we do to make field sales teams successful.

• Why did we pick Terros?

  The word is short, easy to spell, and memorable. Some of our customers found Statra to be confusing to say and would mix it up with similar words like strata and even stratra. In our testing, we found Terros to be easier to work with in a variety of settings.

• How did we select Terros?

  We have been looking for a new name for almost 6 months. We worked with 2 different branding agencies, consulted with a law firm, and got advice from dozens of people we trust. We looked through 100s of possibilities and narrowed the list down to a handful of options we liked most. We tested each candidate with phonetic spelling, memorability, marketability, logo samples, and even using company names as a verb, a website, a mobile app, and more. Terros was the winner across the board.
